2016 Events!

Welcome to the home page of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of Canada.

Our club is dedicated to the preservation, protection and promotion of one of the world’s oldest terrier breeds.

On this website you will discover the fascinating history of the first named Terrier – the Dandie Dinmont. We offer information about the Dandie Dinmont breed, so you can determine if this is the right dog for you.

You can learn about the DDTCC, its history and its philosophies. For members of the DDTCC, we offer a member’s section.

We invite you to attend our various events, and meet the Dandie Dinmont for yourself. Stare into those beautiful eyes, and see what the poet meant when he wrote “A Dandie looks at you as if he’s forgotten more than you ever knew”.
